Beauty Bubble Salon is a bubble-popping game with a makeover theme. At a high-end luxury salon, a customer needs the player's help with cleaning one of the mirrors so that she can see her makeover. The player completes this task by popping pearlescent bath oil beads.
The Hollywood-style illuminated vanity mirror stands in front of silhouettes of other salon customers receiving nail care and other treatments. The game provides a rare shooter in the form of a jar of moisturizing cream. A bath pearl projectile rests atop the cream before each shot. The player uses each projectile to create a group of three or more color-matched beads.
The game features several challenging tricks. The side walls aren't sections of the frame. Instead, the side walls are invisible mirror areas. Rows of new bubble beads drop onto the mirror at random. That said, non-matching bubbles sometimes disappear when a nearby group pops. Projectiles also pop sometimes after hitting single bubbles or the side walls.
Beauty Bubble Salon gives the player a base score and extra points for avalanches of bubbles that drop off the screen and large consecutive shots. It displays the score on an illuminated sign in the top-center area. If the player loses for any reason, they can keep playing by watching an advertisement or start over with a reload button.
